(MAY 8/22) WB Nairn Closure

As of May 08, 2022 12:00, routes 42, 46, 47 and 48 are under the effects of a detour. This detour affects the following stops:

  • 40445 – Eastbound Nairn at Stadacona
  • 40446 – Eastbound Nairn at Desalaberry
  • 40447 – Eastbound Nairn at Watt
  • 40470 – Westbound Nairn at Stadacona
  • 40471 – Westbound Nairn at Allan

Reroutes are as follows:

  • Routes 42 (Plessis Express to Balmoral Station), 46 (Transcona Express to Balmoral Station), 47 (Transcona – Pembina to University of Manitoba via Downtown) and 48 (McMeans Express to Balmoral Station) from Regent Avenue will reroute following these instructions:
    • Travel along Regent Avenue and turn north on to Kildonan Place Terminal
    • Continue along Kildonan Place Terminal and turn west on to Regent Avenue
    • Continue along Regent Avenue which will become Nairn Avenue
    • Continue along Nairn Avenue and turn north on to Watt Street
    • Continue along Watt Street and turn west on to Talbot Avenue
    • Continue along Talbot Avenue and turn west on to Stadacona Street
    • Continue along Stadacona Street which will become Louise Bridge
    • Return to regular service
  • Routes 42 (Plessis Express to Lakeside Meadows), 46 (Transcona Express to Transcona via Kildare), 46 (Transcona Express to Transcona via Regent), 47 (Transcona – Pembina to Transcona via Kildare), 47 (Transcona – Pembina to Transcona via Regent) and 48 (McMeans Express to North Transcona) from Louise Bridge will reroute following these instructions:
    • Travel along Louise Bridge which will become Stadacona Street
    • Continue along Stadacona Street and turn east on to Talbot Avenue
    • Continue along Talbot Avenue and turn south on to Watt Street
    • Continue along Watt Street and turn east on to Nairn Avenue
    • Continue along Nairn Avenue which will become Regent Avenue
    • Continue along Regent Avenue and turn north on to Kildonan Place Terminal
    • Continue along Kildonan Place Terminal and turn east on to Regent Avenue
    • Return to regular service
