Transit Token Program (Currently Paused)
While the Winnipeg Transit Token Program is currently paused, we are offering bus tickets as an alternative to meet the needs of social services and school divisions.
Organizations that are currently approved in the token program can order tickets by emailing an order form to TRN-Revenue@winnipeg.ca. Tickets are also available for purchase at Transit Fare Agent locations and Transit Customer Service Centres.
About Transit Tokens:
The Winnipeg Transit Token Program provides a flexible, single-ride fare option. These tokens offer users a discreet, reusable fare option that provides long-term value. Although the token program is paused, we continue to offer the same service using bus tickets.
Eligibility Criteria for Tokens:
Organizations that may qualify for tokens include:
- Government agencies
- Schools and school-based programming
- Registered charities with the Canada Revenue Agency
- Not-for-profit agencies focused on social welfare, as defined by the Canada Revenue Agency
Ordering Tokens:
To order tokens, your organization must first submit a Winnipeg Transit Token Program application form. Please allow approximately one week for processing.
Once your application is approved, your organization will be notified and will be eligible to purchase tokens. Tokens are sold in quantities of 20 and are available for pickup at our 414 Osborne St. location. Payment is due at the time of pickup.
