There is an upcoming schedule change on Dec 17, 2023

Winnipeg Transit Plus

Winnipeg Transit Plus is a service of Winnipeg’s public transit system that provides door-to-door transportation for people who are unable to regularly use the City’s fixed route transit system because of a physical disability in accordance with the established criteria.

Winnipeg Transit Plus operates within Winnipeg, transporting individuals who are ambulatory or who travel in a wheelchair. Other mobility aides, such as scooters, canes and walkers, are accommodated (some restrictions apply).

Winnipeg Transit Plus delivers the service through contracts with private transportation service providers.

Vehicles used are:

  • cars,
  • vans equipped with a lift,
  • wheelchair accessible mini-buses.

Drivers physically assist passengers from the ground floor outermost doorway of the pick-up location, to and from the vehicle, to the ground floor outermost doorway of the destination.

Winnipeg Transit Plus is a pre-booked, shared ride service. Being the first to be picked up does not guarantee you will be the first dropped off. However, we try to keep in-vehicle travel times to a minimum and ensure that passengers get to their destinations by the requested times.
