(DEC 5/23) St. Vital Bridge construction

As of Dec 05, 2023 11:02, route 16 is under the effects of a detour. This detour affects the following stops:

  • 10057 – Northbound Osborne at Wavell
  • 50463 – Southbound Kingston Ramp to Dunkirk at Kingston Row Terminal
  • 50465 – Northbound Dunkirk at Kingston Row
  • 50466 – Southbound Dunkirk Ramp SB to Dunkirk SB at Kingston Row

Temporary stops at the following locations have been added for extra service:

  • Osborne Street between Osborne Ramp SB to Churchill and Clare Avenue

Reroutes are as follows:

  • Routes 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to Island Lakes via Southdale Centre) and 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to Southdale Centre) from Dunkirk Drive will reroute following these instructions:
    • Travel along Dunkirk Drive passing a temporary stop between Edinburgh Street and Fermor Avenue and turn east on to Fermor Avenue
    • Return to regular service
  • Routes 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to Plaza Dr via St. Vital Centre) and 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to St.Vital Centre) from Dunkirk Drive will continue along Dunkirk Drive passing a temporary stop between Edinburgh Street and Fermor Avenue and return to regular service
  • Routes 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to Selkirk & McPhillips), 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to Tyndall Park via Burrows) and 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to Tyndall Park via Manitoba) from Dunkirk Drive will reroute following these instructions:
    • Travel along Dunkirk Drive which will become St Vital Bridge
    • Return to regular service
