(AUG 8/24) Mayfair at Main shutdown (14, 19, 55, 56, 59)
As of Aug 08, 2024 03:50, routes 14, 53, 54, 55 and 59 are under the effects of a detour. This detour affects the following stops:
- 10157 – Eastbound Mayfair at Queen Elizabeth
- 10159 – Southbound Queen Elizabeth at Stradbrook
- 10641 – Southbound Main at Broadway (Union Station)
- 10642 – Southbound Main at Assiniboine
- 50207 – Southbound St Mary’s at Marion
- 50264 – Southbound St Mary’s at Walmer
Reroutes are as follows:
- Route 53 (to Norwood) from Main Street will reroute following these instructions:
- Travel along Main Street and turn east on to York Avenue
- Continue along York Avenue and turn north on to Israel Asper Way
- Continue along Israel Asper Way and turn east on to Water Avenue
- Continue along Water Avenue which will become Provencher Bridge
- Continue along Provencher Bridge and turn south on to Tache Avenue
- Continue along Tache Avenue and turn west on to St Mary’s Road
- Continue along St Mary’s Road and turn south on to Ferndale Avenue
- Return to regular service
- Routes 14 (St. Mary’s-Ellice to South St. Vital via Dakota), 14 (St. Mary’s-Ellice to South St. Vital via Paddington), 54 (St. Mary’s Express to South St. Vital), 54 (St. Mary’s Express to St. Amant), 55 (St.Anne’s to St. Vital Centre via Dakota), 55 (St.Anne’s to St.Vital Centre via Meadowood), 59 (South St. Anne’s Express to Aldgate) and 59 (South St. Anne’s Express to Island Lakes) from Main Street will reroute following these instructions:
- Travel along Main Street and turn east on to York Avenue
- Continue along York Avenue and turn north on to Israel Asper Way
- Continue along Israel Asper Way and turn east on to Water Avenue
- Continue along Water Avenue which will become Provencher Bridge
- Continue along Provencher Bridge and turn south on to Tache Avenue
- Continue along Tache Avenue and turn east on to St Mary’s Road
- Return to regular service
