(AUG 19/25) R28 – Jarvis @ Mcphilips blocked – railway crossing

As of Aug 19, 2025 06:00, route 28 is under the effects of a detour. This detour affects the following stops:

  • 30323 – Southbound Sinclair at Dufferin
  • 30332 – Westbound Jarvis at Sinclair
  • 30333 – Eastbound Jarvis at Sinclair
  • 30720 – Westbound Jarvis at McPhillips (McPhillips St Stn)
  • 30761 – Northbound Sinclair at Dufferin

Reroutes are as follows:

  • Routes 28 (Arlington – Stafford to Portage) and 28 (Arlington – Stafford to Seel Station) from Dufferin Avenue will reroute following these instructions:
    • Travel along Dufferin Avenue and turn north on to Sinclair Street
    • Continue along Sinclair Street and turn west on to Selkirk Avenue
    • Continue along Selkirk Avenue and turn south on to McPhillips Street
    • Return to regular service
  • Route 28 (Arlington – Stafford to Garden City Centre) from McPhillips Street will reroute following these instructions:
    • Travel along McPhillips Street and turn east on to Selkirk Avenue
    • Continue along Selkirk Avenue and turn south on to Sinclair Street
    • Continue along Sinclair Street and turn east on to Dufferin Avenue
    • Return to regular service
