As of Sep 06, 2026 05:00, routes 678 and 679 are under the effects of a detour. This detour affects the following stops:

  • 60109 – Northbound University at Markham
  • 60111 – Northbound University at Thatcher
  • 60114 – Northbound University at Wedgewood
  • 62171 – Westbound Pembina Ramp NB to University Crescent SB at Pembina

Reroutes are as follows:

  • Routes 678 (Waverly West – Chancellor to South Pointe) and 679 (Waverley to Seel Station) from University Crescent will reroute following these instructions:
    • Travel along University Crescent and turn west on to Bohemier Trail
    • Continue along Bohemier Trail and turn north on to Pembina Highway
    • Continue along Pembina Highway and turn west on to Chancellor Drive
    • Return to regular service
